Topic: Pack 3003 Geocaching Rules

1. ***Cache In Trash Out***
CITO ,Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers have been dedicated to cleaning up parks and other cache-friendly places around the world. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources! So bring a trash bag along with you on your walks in the woods and pick up the occasional piece of trash you see on the trail. Even this small act can make a huge difference.

2. ***Use the "Buddy System"***
Never go alone!!! It is always safer to travel with a partner and there should always be at least two adults with Cub Scouts at all times.

3. Get Out and Play
Mark your car as a waypoint to ensure your safe return.
Practice good Cub Scout ethics, use Cache In Trash Out.
Bring friends and family with you; sharing the experience can be very rewarding. Pets are usually welcome, too!
Remember that distances can be deceiving. A geocache can take longer to find depending on trails, rivers and other obstacles.

4. Share Your Experience
If you take something from the geocache, leave something of equal or greater value.
Write about your experience in the geocache logbook.
Place your geocaching stories and photos online here in our Geocahing Club Bulliten Board
