  • 10C - Make Traditional American Indian Clothing (Chris & Garret Hutchins)                 

April 6

  • 7A - Learn to walk on a pair of stilts - (Adult only)
  • 7B - Make a pair of "puddle jumpers" and walk with them
  • 7C - Make a pair of "foot racers" and use them with a friend

April 13

  • 5C - Make and fly a two stick kite
  • 5E - Make and use a reel for kite string
  • 5A - Explain safety rules for kite flying

April 20

  • 18A - Help plan and hold a picnic with your family or den
  • 23D - Explain the buddy system
  • 23C - Tell what to do if you get lost
  • 23B - Explain the basics of how to take care of yourself in the outdoors
  • 14B - Know what to do when you meet a strange dog
  • 18G - Point out poisonous plants. Tell what to do if you accidentally touch one of them
  • 14D - Tell what is meant by rabid
  • 15C - Grow a plant indoors (Christopher Green)

May 4

  • 5F - Make a model boat with a rubber-band propeller
  • 8D - Make and use a windlass

May 11

  • 10E - Make a model of a traditional American Indian house

 

 

*The activities listed above have been planned and are ready to go for the scouts to lead our den in whichever activity they choose. As your scout chooses which activity they would like to do just email me their choice and I will update this page so each scout will know which activity is still available for them to choose.
